Ted Jorgensen, a bicycle shop owner outside of Phoenix, is the biological father of Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon. He was once a unicyclist in the Ringling Brothers circus.

Interestingly, both Jeff Bezos and Steve Jobs were adopted at very young ages and neither had a relationship with their biological fathers.

In 2011, a Swedish man was arrested for trying to split an atom in his kitchen. Interested in chemistry and physics as a hobby, the man kept a blog on his progress. When he thought it might be illegal, he sent a note to the Swedish radiation authority, and they sent the police to him.

The government is full of science deniers.
