Biden’s poll numbers continue to tank and part of the reason has to do with who he picked for key cabinet positions that are consequential for recovering from the pandemic.
You can pretty much bet that what I’m about to write will be perceived as misogynist and homophobic by leftists. I’m going to criticize a woman and a gay dude, not because of their immutable traits, but because they are stupid.
I really don’t care because it wouldn’t matter who heads these agencies, Biden only wants to look good in front of his woke acolytes and not the average American. Pete Buttigieg and Jennifer Granholm were nominated for the Transportation and Energy secretary positions respectively by Joe Biden.
The US is in the midst of a devastating supply chain and energy crisis. We were told during the Biden campaign that he was a much smarter person than Trump, and that he could tackle problems caused by the pandemic. He also said he would end the virus. So far, Biden is failing miserably to live up to his own rhetoric. Does Biden’s pick for these two critical positions help him?
Of course not.
In the article, she makes this statement:
“Of course, every president is frustrated because they can’t control the price of gasoline because it’s a global market. You can call upon increased supply, which he has done and OPEC is unfortunately controlling the agenda with respect to oil prices. OPEC is a cartel, and it controls over 50 percent of the supply of gasoline,” she added.
Putting aside for the moment her shocking incompetence of understanding where gasoline comes from, the administration believes that the world is at the mercy of an oil cartel which, only a couple of years ago, was not the case. The US was a net producer of oil and energy exports before the pandemic.
Biden’s emphasis in appeasing climate change activists ensured the US maintains its energy, and national security interests, squarely in the hands of nefarious governments in the Middle East. For some reason, Jennifer and her gay colleague, Pete don’t seem to care. And neither does Biden. When recently asked about it, he said so.
So the only thing we have are people in positions of influence without smarts to develop a strategy of how to provide Americans secure energy at a reasonable cost.
At least a national pronoun strategy is in place.
