9/11/2001 ceased being the worst thing that happened to America in my lifetime.

It’s really weird and painful to process and say that.

But it’s the truth.

And quite frankly… it’s not even close.

The guy on the far left in the photo holding hands with the first woman president his wife was responsible for allowing Bin Laden’s plan of attack to carry forward. His administration created barriers between intelligence agencies that prevented collaboration of an unfolding picture of the terrorist’s plot to blow up the World Trade Center.

The fact he stands there today on hallowed ground with the current president, who needlessly allowed 13 more US servicemembers to die on a botched withdrawal plan, just goes to show how desperate our need is to reclaim the values and strength of our country.

If only we didn’t have GOP leaders who were more concerned with messaging than actual resistance.
