I am having surgery today. I was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer. I hadn’t had a blood test in 2 years and my PSA came back elevated. We had a biopsy and it came back positive with a Gleason score of 7 (3-4).
So, today is the day. I am happy we caught it early and looking forward to recovery. My prognosis is excellent and I place myself in God’s care while he watches over my team. I have a week off from work for my recovery.
If you are 40 or over, get your PSA checked regularly. Early diagnosis and treatment will save your life.

We men are cursed by our biology; very good you caught the demon early.
I have a check-up this week.
Best on the recovery.
Lecture point:
Consider removing sugar and carbs to aid recovery and better overall health.

Already on it. I switched to a low carb diet a few weeks ago.

Hate hearing about this, but I hope the surgery goes well, and look forward to your return. Praying for a speedy, complete recovery.
Runs in my family, I get my PSA checked every year. Heck, according to the stats, if you’re a guy and live long enough, you’ll get it. Such is life.
