I don’t think it means what you think it means.
One way to view this article is, “If you take what Chait says at face value, and ignore the timeline and facts that dispute almost everything he wrote, then perhaps in some parallel dimension his article sorta makes sense.”
Of course, the premise in his tweet is factually incorrect. Must be hard trying to get that omelette off ones face with all that cheese and crow in it.

Uh, that’s *exactly* how it works. You’re innocent until proven guilty, and the prosecutor has to prove the guilt. Chait, like so many others, has been broken by Trump.
Now, about a Special Prosecutor for the pre-January 2017 Trump ‘investigation’. Should e fun. Will the participants “cooperate” or will they “obstruct justice” Mr Chait?
