Sometimes you have to wonder when people make statements, do they remember the facts beforehand?
From Breitbart –
Wallace said, “Remember though, that the recusal of Sessions did not lead to the special counsel. It was the firing of Comey, of James Comey, the FBI Director that lead to the appointment of the special counsel. And the only person the president can blame for that is himself.”
Except Trump didn’t do it on a whim. It was Sessions and Rosenstein who recommended Comey be fired for dereliction in his duties to which the IG’s report found were credible. The special counsel was to look into Russian meddling which Mueller used to go into the backgrounds of Manafort and others looking for crimes as part of his broad mandate Rosenstein had written and later expanded.
The collusion aspect of it was something that was made up, but it was clear that the FBI was targeting the Trump campaign and it has been suggested that individuals within the Obama administration had approved the spying operations that has helped to fuel the collusion narrative.
Either way, it was not Trump who is to blame and Chris Wallace seems to have played loose with the facts yet again.
I’ve watched him repeat liberal talking points that have often been debunked before he uses them on his shows. I get he can ask pointed questions, but I’m beginning to wonder if he’s becoming infected as the early stages of TDS are showing.
Anyone know why TMZ is taken down? Has the Idiot Cabin Boy pulled another of his “ploys”?
