It’s like they can’t quite figure it out.

Liberals love to tout the greatness of the US economy, but can’t say the “C” word that built it.

If it weren’t for capitalism, individuals in the US would not have been able to create the kind of wealth that drives this country.  History has shown the capitalism in a free society will improve the lives of a much greater number of the population.

While it is true that capitalism hasn’t eliminated poverty, the historical evidence shows quite clearly that a person’s chance of elevating themselves into self-sufficiency is far higher in a capitalist free society than one of government enforced equality through social justice.

I understand the need to have safety nets.  I also recognize that “haves” and “have-nots” is not a problem government can solve.  You just end up with far more “have-nots” and the “haves” are in government power.

Just like history tells us.
