Nancy Pelosi isn’t satisfied with the benefits American workers are receiving, claiming they are getting crumbs.

Crumbs?  Workers are getting bonuses and pay increases.  Hourly workers are going up to $15.00 an hour without national legislation. Hiring is on the rise.  And almost 91% of American workers will see more crumbs in their paychecks starting in February. In fact, when CBS did a story to show how three families would fare under the tax law, all three would owe LESS in taxes.

While it’s true that some companies have been laying off workers, this year’s numbers are at historically low levels.

This seems far different from when Pelosi said that Obama’s payroll tax cut in 2012 which would result in a meager $40 increase per paycheck was great!

The American people spoke out clearly and, thanks to President Obama’s leadership, 160 million Americans will continue to receive their payroll tax cut – nearly $40 per paycheck in the pockets of the average family. I salute the work of the unified House Democratic caucus on behalf of the American people.

Of course, to Pelosi, a $1,000 bonus is essentially crumbs.  Her and Mr. Pelosi are worth over a $100 million and are considered in the one-tenth of one percent.  At one point, she was, and still may be, the richest member of Congress.

If she believes the tax cuts could be better, perhaps she could introduce legislation to not only make the tax cuts permanent, but maybe lower the rate even more?  Maybe she could just share some of that wealth with all those illegal immigrants she and her husband are hosting in their several homes.
