Conserving female conservatism via a pin-up calendar.
While enjoying the holidays with the family, along with some much needed down time, this came up on my feed yesterday:
The calendar features twelve women who are considered quite easy on the eyes from the perspective of the Seth Weathers, the “Conservative Dad’s Ultra Right Beer.” Today, it’s revealed to be.. *squints* – “softcore porn” …
You know, from my perspective - and if you’re a regular visitor, there are subtle hints in various posts – the calendar sneak peaks appear to be pretty tame. With that said, I did order one just so I could review it for Rule 5 worthiness.
The conservative women who are featured include Riley Gaines, Dana Loesch, Kim Klacik, Ashley St. Clair, Sara Gonzales, Jose The Redheaded Libertarian, Catalina Lauf, Brittany Jean, Bethany Bartlett, and Peyton Drew. Would I love to see each of them in some skimpy lingerie lounging next to a fireplace? Sure, any red-blooded heterosexual man over 18 with a healthy libido would most definitely.
Alas, it appears that Seth didn’t take those kind of pictures. Indeed, it appears Riley Gaines is in a tasteful bikini, and Ashley St. Clair is in obvious lingerie mostly submerged in a bathtub. The others wear outfits that leaves a lot to the imagination which is probably the point: Beautiful conservative women we admire are also very feminine and there is nothing wrong with that.
Besides, the money raised from the calendars goes to the Riley Gaines Center to protect women’s sports and women’s spaces, something that is a very important conservative principle.
If you’re interested in a calendar, the link is here.

It makes it clear we can answer the question: “What is a woman.”

Riley is a swimmer, so the bikini makes sense. Ashley in the one is making fun of Bud Light and other ladies aren’t exactly showing a ton of skin. I don’t see the problem

it’s Josie, not Jose, and I’m damned glad of that.
It’s marketed BY the brand “Conservative Dad” but it’s marketed TO anyone who wants to either look at pretty women or support Riley Gaines’ operation, or both.
I could have done without Kim Klacik, as I think she’s well-established as a fake-con grifter, but okiedoke, good cause, and she’s pretty.
Maybe Jenna is a little mad that she wasn’t included, maybe not. I believe she’s a sincere and conservative Christian, so maybe her ire is fully genuine, but she still couldn’t resist conflating the brand and the target market.
If these pictures really get you in a twist, I’d suggest you need to cancel the rest of your rumspringa and go home – you’re not ready for life among the English.
