Jerry Galvin was responsible for the best two hours of radio I ever heard. He had a “talk show” — more.of an extended, audience-involved comedy performance — and opened one night with the gag of his producer misunderstanding the topic of the show. For the next two hours, not one caller had the “right” topic — and they ALL fit the “I didnt hear you clearly” gag.

Thanks for making me look up Jene Genkins (a reasonable man). The entire sage of him, Plummet Mall, etc couldn’t be pulled off today unfortunatly.
