The slime continues.

Media gets in on the act followed by the left’s creepy porn grifting lawyer.

Late this evening, the New Yorker published an article by Ronan Farrow and Jane Mayer who just happened to find a partying woman who thinks she remembers an incident with Brett Kavanaugh.  It was during a drunken episode so that immediately makes it news worthy.

This latest democrat operative fighting for social justice and human rights was a freshman at Yale.  During that year of going from one party to another, she just so happens to remember a specific incident where some guy named Brett Kavanaugh put his penis in her face.  When pushing him away, she managed to.. uh.. touch it.

Here is the relevant part:

In her initial conversations with The New Yorker, she was reluctant to characterize Kavanaugh’s role in the alleged incident with certainty. After six days of carefully assessing her memories and consulting with her attorney, Ramirez said that she felt confident enough of her recollections to say that she remembers Kavanaugh had exposed himself at a drunken dormitory party, thrust his penis in her face, and caused her to touch it without her consent as she pushed him away. Ramirez is now calling for the F.B.I. to investigate Kavanaugh’s role in the incident. “I would think an F.B.I. investigation would be warranted,” she said.

It’s not that she want to a hypnotist to remember – it was with her lawyer.  And like Ford, wants the FBI to investigate this incident that few remembers.  In fact, a mutual friend of both her and Kavanaugh’s totally says she’s telling the truth by saying that even though he never witnessed it, it must be true because they became good friends.

Debbie and I became close friends shortly after we both arrived at Yale,” he said. “She stood out as being exceptionally honest and gentle. I cannot imagine her making this up.” He said that he never witnessed Kavanaugh engage in any sexual misconduct, but did recall him being “frequently, incoherently drunk.” He described Ramirez as a vulnerable outsider. “Is it believable that she was alone with a wolfy group of guys who thought it was funny to sexually torment a girl like Debbie? Yeah, definitely. Is it believable that Kavanaugh was one of them? Yes.” Another acquaintance from college, Jennifer Klaus, similarly said that she considered the allegation plausible, adding, “Debbie’s always been a very truthful, kind—almost to the point of being selfless—individual.” A third classmate, who Ramirez thought had attended the party, said that she was not present at the incident. The former student, who asked not to be named, said that she also found Ramirez credible.

There are common themes in these threads.  In the commotion of events where the acts occurred, people were drunk and the accusers never said anything afterwards.  Only after years and a Supreme Court nomination hearing does anyone really remember.  And the same failure of logic is often repeated, “Why would they lie?  These are credible people and therefore have credible allegations!”

They also happen to be liberal activists and all of them repeat the same catch phrases used by the democrat committee members, including that the FBI should investigate. Almost as if this were part of a .. you know.. script.

Needing to jump into the writhing pile of naked allegations to get himself some action, porn lawyer and activist grifter Michael Avenatti claims that Kavanaugh and his friend Mark Judge were running something equivalent to a sex ring:

Huh.  Can this be explained by something other than coincidence?  Nope.

Of course, the republican members of the judiciary committee allowed themselves to be placed into this corner.  Democrats have been given everything they wanted and they have used it to their advantage.

While conservatives have screamed “Don’t let them railroad you!”, Grassley and company have stood on the tracks watching the little light get bigger and bigger.  This has caused many to wonder why the Republicans want their vote when all they do is pee their pants at the first sign of trouble.

The people who will suffer the most is Kavanaugh’s family. They get to watch as the political process slowly slimes their loved one in the national spotlight.  And Republicans can’t seem to figure out how to grow a spine and stop it.

It’s as if there aren’t any adults in the room.

  1. Too bad we have to elect so many politicians! And the politicians are usually lawyers, which is even worse. It’s no coincidence that the two best presidents in my lifetime were not politicians first but learned to deal with politicians and bureaucrats from the non-political side before they really got into politics.
