One thing you can always count on from the Team Kimbergarten cabal is the lack of intelligence.

Here is his statement:

I’ve never claimed to be a climate scientist.

The article is not what science predicted, but what the authors are predicting. It says so in the first paragraph of the linked article.  Someone has a reading comprehension problem.

And yet, almost every prediction from climate scientists over the last 30 years has been wrong, especially when it comes to sea level rise.

The study includes climate models projecting future climate conditions from increased CO2 emissions; a custom hydrogeological model of the islands water resources; and models for analyzing ocean waves patterns from sea level rise and the impacts it will have over time.

The climate models are the same ones used by climate scientists since 1988 that have predicted SLR of up to 1 meter by the middle of the 21st century.

We take NASA climate activist James Hansen’s 1 meter prediction in the early 1990’s and compare it with this graph using NOAA data:

Since 1990, sea level rise has been a little over 2 centimeters in total, just under 1 millimeter a year.  To reach the 98 remaining centimeters to make the 2050 prediction, the rate of SLR needs to reach 3 cm PER YEAR, almost 30 times the current rate.

Mother Nature has a lot of work to do to align herself with what scientists are saying she should be doing.

  6. Well, hey! If he sucks and music and web design why should we demand he be good at basic math. I doubt if he could count to 21 without pulling his pants down (and that might not help).

    The sun was not expected to head into a solar minimum until around 2020, but it appears to be heading in early which could prove to be bad news.

    The last time there was a prolonged solar minimum, it led to a ‘mini ice-age’, scientifically known as the Maunder minimum – which lasted for 70 years.

    The Maunder minimum, which saw seven decades of freezing weather, began in 1645 and lasted through to 1715, and happened when sunspots were exceedingly rare.
