OTOH, the only death I’ve ever witnessed while on vacation was in New Orleans.
Guy shot down in the middle of an intersection during Mardi Gras. Crowd draws back, cops show up, nobody saw nuffin’, meat wagon loads him up, bar owner comes out and hoses the blood down the gutter.
Fifteen minutes afterwards, no sign anything happened. Life is cheap in ‘nawlens…
