The elected officials from California are at their peak again of failed logic.
Because the cashier has means to easily determine if the person buying the liquor is a minor?
How would that work with a person buying a gun?
Seller: “Are you going to shoot up a bunch of people with this?”
Buyer: “No.”
Seller: “SOLD!”

What a tool.

If ever the government determines that they want my guns…. they can have them.
Bullets first.
The rapid velocity of them might make it difficult, but… oh well.

Wait – is he saying that gun dealers are protected from liability if they negligently sell firearms to minors?
I call bullshit.

Gun manufacturers cannot be sued if someone uses a gun in a illegal act. They can be sued, for the product not working as advertised, or being faulty. Gun sellers would violate federal law selling to minors and need to see an id to prove age just like a liquor store. He is right in that the gun industry has special protection, but nobody was trying to drive the hammer industry out of business with nuicence lawsuits when somebody beat someone over the head with one.
