I was on a team that got beat 79-0 by what at the time became the highest scoring team in Illinois. We played hard and got the tar beat out of us. I don’t remember any whining after the game.

In 2003, K-State played Nebraska in Lincoln and won 38-9. After the game, defensive coordinator from Nebraska Bo Pelini, ran over to Snyder and accused him of running up the score.
No seriously, a Nebraska head coach accusing another of running up the score on them.
