The luscious Dread Pirate Zombie Morgana has a very fun post about the lamentations of one Bill Schmalfeldt on twitter. It seems as though Bill Schmalfeldt is not a happy camper and has decided, once again, to culturally appropriate the disabled.
We all know that Schmalfeldt has claimed over the years he’s had Stage IV Parkinson’s and, like a hurricane during an eyewall replacement, meandered into Stage V territory from time to time.
Then he moved to Wisconsin and, amazingly, got better and was downgraded to Stage I and then complete remission. You see, he gave up driving because his PD was so bad, he was afraid he might lose control and hurt someone, or maybe go off a bridge (wishful thinking). And while he was there, he bought a car! And DROVE to IOWA and SOUTH CAROLINA! Sadly, he safely crossed a few bridges.
After moving to South Carolina to be with the love of his life (#4), he’s back to Stage IV Parkinson’s and it’s very aggressive this time. So much so, that after filing a lawsuit in the US District Court of South Carolina (his eighth attempt at justice…lolol) as forma in pauperis, he bought a new mobile command center wheelchair, and most recently, Scooty Putt-Putt II – The Red Beatusbarrow, which, by itself, costs more than it does to file a lawsuit.
Now interestingly, a truly disabled person would have received government assistance. Had Schmalfeldt received such assistance, he would have been sharing it with the world about how much he’s soaking the taxpayers with his fake disease.
Since he didn’t, one is left to assume that he made the purchases with his own cash. As of 5 pm Eastern Time, he has yet to deny that the purchases were made without government assistance.
The reality is, no one is mocking the disabled. We’re mocking Schmalfeldt for appropriating a disability he does not have, which is the same as Schmalfeldt mocking the disabled.
