It can never be said that a racist, bigoted, or misogynist slur was too obscene for Bill Schmalfeldt.
If you happen to be someone in a protected class of people, it makes the opportunity that much sweeter for a fine white male bigot like Bill.

If memory serves he also had a racist moment right on live radio when he was in “his town”.

You missed my favorite. The one where he said he spoke to someone who had an “African tinge” to her voice. He also referred to Ali as “Boy”. Bill is a racist mother fucker. He can try to deny it but his own words betray him.

A person who uses racial slurs and epithets need not believe that they are true. That person may a liar rather than a bigot. Thus, a person who uses racial slurs and epithets may be a racist, a liar, or both.
There is some saying about that: embrace the power of what?

These exhibits show that Schmalfeldt was not uttering them from a context of belief; the purpose was to dehumanize the target in an exchange. That, by itself makes him a bigot. His interaction with me shows he is a racist, and that can be used to establish malice.
He has been documented and often affirmed as untruthful and another word for that is liar.
So, I think the answer to your question is: “emphatic AND”.

It’s clear that DF hates. Documented above is plenty of evidence that he used racial slurs. But I haven’t seen any utterance where he claims racial superiority. Everything I’ve seen so far is consistent with calculated intent to hurt.
Equal opportunity abuser.

A dictionary defines the term bigot as “one who regards or treats the members of a group (such as a racial or ethnic group) with hatred and intolerance”. Again, I’ve seen no clear evidence that DF targets (or avoids targeting) anyone based on their race or ethnicity.

I don’t disagree with what you’re saying, but here is the definition of racist.

You can pick which OR condition matches to make the definition true. The question is, does the use of racial slurs equate to being a racist? I would argue that to a progressive SJW, they do and since we’re talking about Bill Schmalfeldt’s claim to be a progressive, by their own rules he is a racist.

Is DF a hypocrite? Sure.
Would he accuse others of racism for using such slurs? Probably, if he thought the target could be shamed.
But I reject the expansive SJW definition of racism. Racism cannot extend to mere dissent from Marxist orthodoxy,.

You and I are on the same page. In my comment above, I am just using his rules of play against him. I don’t know that he is or isn’t a racist, but he’s certainly a bigot.
