In the medium article, the author did a lot of reading while trying to figure out what works best for her. Eventually, she figured it out but the sense of entitlement in that piece was dripping.

Been up every morning at 4:30am for the last 57 years. No alarm clock, haven’t ever needed one.
Drove my mother nuts when I was a toddler, until she realized that I would stay in my room and play until breakfast.
As it stands now, I generally get more done before 8am than most people get done all day.

Oh, and I have had several successful careers, founded several companies, own a bunch of real estate, have a passel of kids and grandkids, and have filled my life with incredible memories, friends, and experiences.
Getting up early didn’t hurt…
