Elizabeth Warren’s tweet about government corruption is .. funny.
Let’s start with the basics:
Isn’t it corrupt to claim a minority status when you can’t prove it to get a cushy job that you would otherwise be unqualified for?
Isn’t this the same as having the fox guard the hen house?

Oh it’s not that she was unqualified. She was already a law professor elsewhere. It’s that she wouldn’t have got the job over any actual minority, because Harvard was specifically looking for a token.

Warren went to law school at Rutgers. Rutgers Law grads do not get hired to teach at Harvard Law on the merits.

She was hired as an adjunct by Harvard before she listed herself on the NA directory but there’s a theoretical chance of her being tenured due to being female. Just not over a female minority…which she knew, so she spun up the NA story, and was probably shocked it worked.
